|WELCOME TO TANZANIA
Tanzania is the country visibly seen on the map of Africa as the centre of beautiful lakes, rivers, mountains, valleys and forests. It is home to land`s largest mammals, namely, Elephant, Rhinocerous and Girrafes. Tanzania is also blessed with Africas highest mountain and the worlds free standing mountain called Kilimanjaro.
Within Tanzania there is a variety of wildlife all surviving in a range of habitats which varies from the eternal snow of Mount Kilimanjaro to the tropical forests of the western regions, the plains of Serengeti, the stark volcanic landscapes, the wide savannahs of the Rift Valley and the balmy beaches of the long coastline and the adjacent islands.
Alongside these features are the diverse cultures of 120 ethnic groups, their languages, history and their artistic creations often played out in spectacular rituals and joyous music. Mount Kilimanjaro, the view from the peak is incomparable. The climb presents an ever-changing series of natural environments from tropical rainforests to an eerie world of ice and snow.
Also one of the largest game reserve in the world is found in tanzania, named Selous. Other famous wilderlife parks include Serengeti, Ruaha, Rubondo island, Gombe, Manyara, Tarangire, Saadani and many more. On top of all these there are many ethnic groups with rich cultural backgrounds and very hospitable behaviours.
There's a reason safari means "journey" in Swahili: No other word better sums up the experience of this southeast African country. Tanzania's unspoiled national parks rival any in the world. Capture the annual wildebeest migration across the Serengeti plains, or the Big Five.
